It's open to all riders, mixed gender, and comes with the same course support as competitive categories. Top finishers get podium recognition and a trophy — but there's no prize money.

No. 4 Ghat categories Elite and Masters involves both Men and Women. This is mix categories. In 2 Ghat and 1 Ghat there are separate categories for Men and Women.

Neutral zones between ghats can be covered by any means of transport — your own vehicle, a support vehicle, or otherwise. These sections are not timed as competitive segments.

An official Sahyadri Classic race jersey is included for every rider, along with course support, aid stations, and medical coverage.

No. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-cancellable under any circumstances.

Yes. Riders must be self-sufficient for hydration, nutrition, and mechanical needs during competitive segments. No personal support vehicles, hand-offs, or outside assistance are allowed while climbing — volunteers and aid stations provide official course support.

Mechanical support is available only at the race hub. Riders may seek outside mechanical help (e.g., a bike shop) but must rejoin the race at the exact point they left, with official approval before the cutoff.

A fastened, ISO-certified helmet at all times; front and rear lights (compulsory 5:30–7:00 AM and after 6:00 PM); BIB number on the front of the bike and back of the jersey. Water bottles, a puncture kit, and reflective gear are recommended but not mandatory.

Since this is a mass start race, your official start time is fixed as per your category, regardless of when you personally show up to the line. There's no time concession for a late start — you race the clock from the scheduled start, not from whenever you join in.

Yes. Ambulances are stationed at the start and finish of every ghat, with volunteers and marshals along the route.

Two aid stations per ghat provide hydration and nutrition. On start point also nutrition and hydration will be available. Beyond that, riders are expected to carry their own supplies as part of the self-supported format.

Riders who don't complete their category within the cutoff are marked DNQ (Did Not Qualify). Medals may still be awarded at the officials' discretion.

Bibs are distributed on 20th November at Hotel Dave (Race Hub), from 4 PM to 8 PM. Riders in the 1 Ghat and 2 Ghat categories may also collect their bib at the start point, up to 1 hour before their race starts. Bib collection closes 1 hour before the race start — no exceptions.

Prize distribution takes place after the race, starting 8 PM at Hotel Dave (Race Hub).
